Hustle and Dexter star Jaime Murray has said that nepotism did not help her in her career.
Her father is ex-EastEnders and The Bill star Billy Murray, and she said she had to work to get her early acting roles.
Murray said"I wish my dad could help me like that, it would make my life so much easier. Maybe at the beginning of my career I thought the business would work like that but it doesn’t.
"You can even be friends with producers and directors but you still won’t get the parts. We’ve all heard about the casting couch and people sleeping their way to the top, but I just don’t understand how it works."
